The 2018/19 New Zealand Super Rugby jerseys for adidas 5 franchises were unveiled earlier this week.  The Kiwi teams aim to continue their dominance of the SANZAAR competition.

The new jersey for each club reflects their own unique identity, manufactured to the highest standards and with the latest innovations in jersey technology by adidas.

2017 Super Rugby Champions the Crusaders lead the pack with a new home shirt that returns them to their classic red on black design, with a unique sublimated motif that abstractly reflects the swords and shields of medieval knights.

Meanwhile the 2016 champion Hurricanes have accented their classic yellow jersey with a striking striped pattern that is designed to reflect the patterns of a supercell storm.

The Chiefs continue to honour their Maori heritage with another detailed tonal design that references traditional art, while the Blues pay tribute to the geography of Aukland with the eye-catching light blue jersey accented with impressionistic takes on the mountains that surround New Zealand’s largest city.

Finally, the Highlanders pay tribute to their Celtic connections, with a tonal tartan motif on the bottom of the design and a detailed Celtic not pattern around the top.

All the new New Zealand Super Rugby jerseys will be worn by their respective teams when the new season kicks off at the end of February 2018.
