BLK Takes Over as USA Rugby Jersey Sponsor

BLK_USARugbyUSA Rugby is gearing up for the run-up and playing of the 2015 Rugby World Cup and defending their Olympic rugby Gold medal in 2016 and announced the signing of a 3-year partnership with BLK.  BLK will provide the official USA jersey for national teams.  The deal will take effect in July.

“BLK is an exciting new global Rugby brand that will provide all of our national teams with elite-level, high quality technical playing and training apparel,” USA Rugby Chief Executive Officer and President of Rugby Operations Nigel Melville said.

“USA Rugby is delighted to partner with BLK, whose products are now worn by an increasing number of professional and international Rugby teams.”

BLK was created in 2011 and is increasingly becoming a major apparel player in the game of rugby.  The Australian-based company is the official provider of 4,000 Rugby teams around the world including the New Zealand Kiwis, Qantas Wallabies and Fiji Rugby Union.

      What’s illegitimate about BLK? They sponsor multiple national teams and top-tier club teams like Toulouse, Ospreys, Sharks, etc.
