Cardiff Blues have unveiled their 17/18 home rugby jersey that will be worn for the upcoming Guinness Pro14 season.
The new Canterbury jersey sees the Blues return to using sky blue as the primary colour on the shirt after four seasons of using a darker shade.
The shirt echoes last season’s home shirt in having pinstripes of contrasting blue running down the front of the design, this year we have double stripes of darker blue, echoed with dark blue on the sleeves and shoulder yoke.
Interestingly, the Blues have opted to use Canterbury’s 360-degree Loop neckline as opposed to the new double-layered loop design we’ve seen from other Canterbury jerseys this year.
Cardiff will wear their new home shirt for their opening match of the Pro14 season, at home to Edinburgh Rugby on September 1, 2017.
