England always makes a statement with their rugby 7s jersey and this year is no different.  Canterbury unveiled the jersey on April 23 and they will make their on-field debut on May 3 at the Glasgow 7s tournament.

The new jersey is available in a white home color and navy blue alternate color.  The jersey design is inspired by St George and the George Cross Medal.  Small George Crosses in red, grey, and white feature on the front of both jerseys.  This design element is only 1 of the cool features of the new jersey.

England-7s-homeThe England SE7VENS logo is below the center of the modern looking crew collar.  The shoulder panels and sleeves are a solid color and the Canterbury logo is positioned on the right shoulder providing a unique look.

England-7s-alternateThe cuff of the sleeve features 6 narrow hoops in white/grey with the bottom 7th hoop on both jerseys in red.

The Heathrow Express sponsor logo is on the center of the chest.

What do you think about the England 2014/15 7’s jersey?  Is this better than previous jerseys?
