England rugby have revealed a brand new alternate shirt that the reigning Six Nations will wear in during this year’s November internationals.

The new jersey is dark grey with a striking red fade pattern on the sleeves and on the bottom of the shorts. The new design continues the current Canterbury aim of creating visual distractions in key areas of the design to disguise player movement and make it harder to distinguish aspects of the body during the tackle.

The new shirt also features a tonal angular pattern across the body that is designed to represent the distinctive roof of England’s fortress Twickenham Stadium.

“It’s an honour for each and every player to wear the England shirt and represent the country,” said England captain Dylan Hartley at the launch. “It’s great to see once again that Canterbury is as committed to performance as we players are. It gives us real confidence to know we are wearing the best possible kit.”
