France rugby have revealed a new alternate jersey that will be worn for the first time by the France Women’s team at this week’s Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 in Ireland.
The men’s team will wear a similar jersey starting with the November test matches but their jersey will have the adidas logo shifted back to the right chest, replacing the Women’s Rugby World Cup logo.
The new jersey is the traditional white of a France change shirt, but with a striking chevron design on the front of the shirt, in the classic French colours of dark blue and red.
The chevrons aren’t solid, and are instead made up of hundreds of tiny hexagons, which become more densely packed as you move up each V.
In addition, the new shirt also features adidas’ brand new ergonomic collar design, and a 3D embossed FFR badge on the left side of the chest, plus the WRWC2017 logo on the right.
