Ahead of the 2017/18 Premiership season, London club Harlequins FC have revealed three new jerseys for the upcoming campaign.

The new shirts are once again produced by adidas, and the home shirt returns the club to its classic bright quartered colours after last season’s muted 150th Anniversary design.

Instead, inspired by London’s famous Savile Row tailors, the 2017/18 kit combines the shirt, shorts and socks to look like one flowing design. So instead of the classic even quarters, the shirt’s top quarters are enlarged, while the shorts and socks match the smaller bottom halves for a top-to-bottom design.

The away shirt, in contrast is a strikingly modern design. The primarily red jersey follows on from adidas’s ‘territory’ theme, which we’ve previously seen in the Super Rugby tour edition jerseys that they wore against the British & Irish Lions.

Like the tour edition jerseys the body of the jersey features a distressed map effect, with the boroughs of London picked out in black and light blue.

Finally, the 2017/18 Charity shirt is a primarily black design, with a modern diamond motif across the front with details picked out in brown, grey, blue and red.

The Charity jersey will be worn by Quins for their Big Game event at Twickenham Stadium in November, while the home and away jerseys will be worn throughout the 2017/18 season.
