Isles’ Blunder Costs Him His 1st Try

Carlin Isles has turned his full attention to rugby signing with Glasgow Warriors earlier this year.  He took to the pitch for the first time suiting up for Ayr against Hawick in a Scottish club game.  It was a good showing for the American but he was disappointed that a blunder cost him his 1st try.

Ayr won 21-15 despite the blunder.

Isles explained he thought he had touched down the ball but was quick to accept the referee’s interpretation and look to move on and improve his rugby skill set.

In a post game interview he talked about the play and his future.  He was called out by the interviewer when refereeing to his rugby boots as spikes.
