Four-time champions the Ospreys have revealed a new away shirt that they’ll wear for the forthcoming Guinness Pro14 season.
The jersey is the first produced for the Welsh region under the three-year deal the signed with Canterbury of New Zealand this offseason, and was worn for the first time in their preseason clash against Leicester Tigers at Bridgend’s Brewery Field.
The jersey is the traditional Ospreys change strip colour of white, but this time features a striking grey and black pattern that covers the front of this jersey. The pattern itself is designed to represent ‘bedrock’ and the community foundations upon which the region is built. This pattern carries on inside the jersey as well.
In addition we also have Canterbury’s latest jersey technology on board, including Canterbury’s Thermoreg, VapoDri and Vaposhield elements in the fabric, and the new double-layer Loop collar.
The Ospreys home jersey from Canterbury will be revealed next weekend ahead of the Ospreys’ preseason match against Bath.
