USA Rugby unveiled the new 2014/15 home jersey on Monday.  This is the first jersey for the team made by new apparel sponsor BLK and made its on-field debut with the U.S. women’s Eagles at the Women’s Rugby World Cup.

The jersey has a navy blue base with red and white used for the detailing.  The red of the jersey makes the boldest statement.  A red horizontal stripe across the middle of the torso serves as the background for the Fly Emirates sponsorship logo and red panels arch from the insert collar to the armpit.  A narrow band of red serves as the cuff of the sleeve and is continued down the side seam of the jersey.

The sleeve is given an interesting look with the white detailing.  The bottom 1/3 of the sleeve is white with the exception of a narrow band of navy blue under the arm.  The USA flag is on the left sleeve while the right sleeve is open for tournament related logos.

The USA Rugby badge is over the left chest while a white BLK logo is over the right chest.

From other images from USA Rugby it appears the Eagles will wear an interesting modern take on a hoop jersey with white and navy blue hoops for their away jersey.

What do you think about the new look for USA Rugby?  Do you like BLK’s first look for the Eagles?
